Youth Services

A variety of treatment options are available to adolescents needing substance abuse treatment. SWFAS counselors initially meet with the adolescent and family to gather information about current and previous substance abuse, family history, education, medical needs, and similar information. Family involvement and participation is a critical component of treatment. Based on this assessment, the interviewer determines if treatment is necessary and, if so, the most appropriate level of treatment from these choices:
