Adult Detoxification CenterSWFAS DETOX is a 25-bed facility, under the direction of a physician, and serves adults, who are undergoing withdrawal from alcohol and/or drugs. The center is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is the only detoxification facility in Lee, Charlotte, Glades, and Hendry counties. Duration of care ranges from 3 to 21 days, depending upon the severity of the withdrawal. This facility is located near a major hospital, which is available for any critical physical complications.
