Substance Abuse Treatment Services
- Outpatient Counseling - offers adolescent/parent groups, family counseling, adolescent-only groups and individual counseling.
- Youth Day Treatment - gives youngsters, 13 to 17 years old, the opportunity to participate in structured programming and treatment, in the daytime and return to their homes in the evening. Students also receive educational services during their treatment. Families meet weekly.
- Youth Residential Treatment - is available for teens, ages 13 to 17, who need to receive more intensive treatment. This is a 20-bed residential center for youngsters, with drug and/or alcohol problems. Treatment can range from 60 to 150 days, followed by four months of continuing care. Classroom instruction is offered, on-premises, by a co-operative arrangement with the Lee County School District.
- Continuing Care Program - when adolescents graduate from either the residential or day treatment program, they automatically are enrolled in the Continuing Care Program. This program meets weekly in a group therapy format, and teaches relapse prevention skills, relapse triggers, cravings, stress management, assertiveness training and how to make good choices
