An employee’s job retention and/or promotion should not be affected by the utilization of the Employee Assistance Program. Neither should an employee expect job protection merely by utilizing the EAP, job performance and behavior must be the key determinant in workplace evaluations. Information shared will include attendance, treatment recommendations and compliance with treatment only, while maintaining the confidentiality of the counseling sessions
