Southwest Florida Employee Assistance Programs has been a local provider of employee assistance programs to the region for over twenty years. We provide EAPs to over 60 local businesses, not-for-profit agencies and governmental bodies. We are owned by Southwest Florida Addiction Services, Inc., and are a not-for-profit organization. We have the luxury of being a specialized, independent department of a larger organization, which offers us greater financial stability and administrative support than comparable independent operations.

Southwest Florida Employee Assistance Programs offers a variety of services. This includes both individual and family counseling available to employees and their family members and referrals to appropriate local agencies when needed. This also includes free legal information from a local firm and referral within their network of local lawyers and free financial counseling. We also provide, upon request, Critical Incident Stress Management, including debriefing and follow-up services. We provide drug and alcohol assessments and referrals for treatment both to individuals who present themselves for assistance and to those who come through a workplace referral. We have a large local network of public and private practitioners to whom we refer clients in need of services beyond the scope of the EAP.

Southwest Florida Employee Assistance Programs has a large network of out of area providers as well. We contract with licensed professionals, with EAP experience if possible, and monitor their performance in each referral. We are able to meet the needs of employees in various geographic areas, with established networks throughout the state of Florida, and beyond. We currently offer services in North Carolina, Texas and Arizona, and can establish connections through our affiliation with the International Employee Assistance Professionals Association wherever the need may be.
